The cleanliness left much to be desired!!! The bathroom was not properly maintained, and the sheets had burns!!! Contacting customer service was frustrating and unhelpful when issues arose!!! No smoke detector adds to safety concerns!!!

Consider bringing your own utensils and plates if you plan to dine in, as available kitchenware is limited.

My stay was regrettable. The room was filthy with stained walls and cigarette burns. The lack of a smoke detector was alarming. Moreover, the area felt unsafe, with illegal activities happening nearby. I highly recommend finding alternate accommodations for a safer experience.

I had a surprisingly enjoyable stay at Stay Express Inn! The air-conditioned rooms came equipped with free WiFi, making it easy to unwind after exploring nearby attractions like the South Carolina Aquarium. The seasonal outdoor pool was perfect for a refreshing dip on a sunny day, and the garden area offered a lovely spot to relax.

The room was in desperate need of cleaning, with visible stains and unkempt areas. Customer service was disappointing, lacking any meaningful support during my stay. Despite having a comfortable bed, the overall experience was marred by inadequate maintenance and a general sense of neglect. Unfortunately, even simple amenities like towels were below standard, which added to the discomfort. All of this overshadowed the decent food options available, such as the pan roasted beef tenderloin, which was a highlight.

Just a smart choice for a brief stopover in North Charleston with definitely value for money. The room had a surprisingly comfortable bed for the price I paid, which was a relief after a long drive. Make sure to bring your own cleaning supplies since the place could use a thorough cleaning.

We loved our stay with the kids! The outdoor pool was a highlight, especially after visiting Harmon Field for some fun family time. The air-conditioned rooms helped us feel comfortable after our day out exploring North Charleston.
